Like all of our other products, a ton of focus was placed on an intuitive interface. We want members to be able to record vital data without having to think about too many drop down boxes, or other difficult methods. And like our other programs, data entry into RehabPro is actually easier than writing.
The Application You Need
Everyone agrees on the benefit of providing rehab for firefighters engaged in firefighting and strenuous training. However, agreeing with it and putting it into practice sometimes are two different things. Never before has there been a software application designed specifically for tracking firefighter rehab, built to be consistent with the guidelines set in the NFPA 1584 Standard. RehabPro provides a simple solution to fit into it’s client departments’ policy procedure, and practices. We start with an easy to see interface that begins a timer when checked into rehab. This is consistent with rehab accountability, which is often overlooked. The time after check in provides the rehab manager with an accurate time of rest before first set of vitals are taken. The vitals are entered and then repeated after a period of time. The vital signs are computed in the Return to Action (RTA) ® Algorithm and will alert the rehab manager when someone is flagged to not return to work. All vital information is uploaded into the users individual profile, which is protected information and only able to be accessed by the individual member. The department is able to run statistics on the rehab history, however the program ensures that only data which guarantees anonymity is available. Building this program speaks to us and our core values of working toward firefighter safety.
Why Choose RehabPro
Let’s face it. Rehab hasn’t always been the most glamorous part of the firefighting job. However, the amount of health related firefighter fatalities is staggering. Utilizing a NFPA 1854 compliant system to help administer your rehab, and maintaining documentation is a better option for your members and the department.

NFPA 1584: Standard on the Rehabilitation Process for Members During Emergency Operations and Training Exercises
The NFPA standard lines out the responsibilities of the fire department or district in providing rehabilitation for our working firefighters, during emergencies and training. Many firefighters die every year due to heart related incidents, often after the fire. This standard is designed to help identify those potential issues and prevent firefighter death or injury based on exertion.
NFPA 1584 states that checking vital signs in rehab is necessary.
NFPA 1584 states that accountability must be maintained in rehab.
